Zahlreiche Neuigkeiten wurden im Jahr 2005 auf den drei für die deutsche Gastroenterologie wesentlichen Jahreskongressen präsentiert - neben der nationalen Tagung der DGVS in Köln auch der amerikanische (DDW Chicago) und europäische (UEGW Kopenhagen) Gastroenterologenkongress - die im Folgenden in einer natürlich notwendigerweise subjektiven Auswahl des Wesentlichen dargestellt werden sollen.
