Reaction of (η2-propene)Ti(OiPr)2 (1), readily generated in situ by the reaction of Ti(OiPr)4 with 2 equiv of iPrMgCl, with imines affords the titanium-imine complexes in moderate to excellent yields, which undergo coupling reactions with alkynes, nitriles and imines.
