The skeletons of tetracyclo[6.3.0.04.11.05.9]undeca-2,6-diene and tetracyclo[7.2.0.04.11.0.6.10]undeca-2,7-diene undergo Cope interconversion. In accord with calculated heats of formation, the framework favored at equilibrium depends on the angle (hybridization) at the methylene bridge.
