The authors have brought to the publisher's attention some corrections that need to be made to our previously published article titled “A Clinical Mathematical Model Estimating Postoperative Urine Output in Children Underwent Cardiopulmonary Bypass for Congenital Heart Surgery,” which was published in the Journal of Pediatric Intensive Care with DOI: 10.1055/s-0042-1758474 on November 11, 2022.

The corrections are as follows:

  • 1. The equation of the renal blood flow (RBF) requires clarification as below:

  • 2. The calculated parameter “k” should be corrected to 6.06. The corrected equation of Q u is as below:

  • 3. The following sentence should be added to the figure caption and the methods section: “To find the urine output in mL/kg/h, the Q u value calculated using the above equation should be divided by the patient's weight (kg) and 32 hours.”

  • 4. The results were recalculated with the corrected parameter k = 6.06. After correcting the parameter “k,” the recalculated results were more accurate compared with the original results. The updated results are as follows:

    • Mean absolute error: 0.997, 95% confidence interval (CI) (0.965–1.033).

    • Root mean squared error: 1.415, 95% CI (1.318–1.512).

    • R 2: 0.801, 95% CI (0.791–0.812).

These updated results should be revised in the text after the revised formula in item 2 above.
