Die Wirksamkeit eines Medikaments kann durch das Gespräch mit dem Patienten verstärkt werden – aber auch seine Nebenwirkungen. Doch wie können Ärzte dieses Wissen nutzen, um den Behandlungserfolg zu verbessern? Dieser Beitrag erläutert die wesentlichen Grundlagen des Placebo- und Noceboprinzips bei Schmerzpatienten.
