Zusammenfassung

Die für die Gewichtsreduktion erforderliche Einschränkung der Energiezufuhr kann problemlos mit Formulaprodukten erreicht werden. Formulaprodukte sind Nährstoffmischungen, die in Magermilch, Sojamilch oder Wasser gelöst als Getränke eingenommen werden. Bei reiner Formuladiät werden alle Mahlzeiten durch Formula ersetzt. Die Formuladiät ist einfach herzustellen und die wirksamste Maßnahme zur Gewichtsreduktion. Bei einem partiellen Mahlzeitenersatz zur Gewichtsreduktion werden täglich zwei Mahlzeiten durch Formula ersetzt. Eine verbleibende Mahlzeit aus natürlichen Nahrungsmitteln erlaubt Flexibilität und Variabilität, Teilnahme am familiären und gesellschaftlichen Leben. Nach der gewünschten Gewichtsabnahme kann durch Ersatz nur noch einer Mahlzeit durch Formula neuerlichem Gewichtsanstieg begegnet werden. Somit ist die Mahlzeitenersatzstrategie ein wirksames Mittel zur Gewichtsabnahme und Gewichtskontrolle.

Summary

The reduction of energy intake necessary for weight loss can easily be achieved with formula products. Formula products are mixtures of nutrients solved in skimmed milk, soy milk or water. A formula diet means that all meals are replaced by formula products. The formula diet is simply prepared and represents the most efficient diet for weight reduction. Within a partial meal replacement plan two meals are replaced with formulas and one meal is composed of natural foods. The remaining meal ensures flexibility and variability of the diet and gives the liberty to participate in usual life and to exercise in healthy nutrition. After the weight loss phase the changeover into weight maintenance is easily done with the replacement of merely one meal with formula. The meal replacement strategy is an effective tool for weight loss and weight control.
