Abstract
Rheumatic fever has remained a health concern in some parts of the world, particularly in developing countries. The diagnosis of the disease is based on Jones criteria that consist of major and minor manifestations. The existences of atypical presentation and accompanying diseases have been reported in a number of rheumatic fever cases. We report a case of acute rheumatic fever that was accompanied by pulmonary regurgitation and psychiatric syndrome, which might be considered as parts of carditis and Sydenham chorea respectively.
