Summary

The essay is an attempt to retrospectively study the thought process and concepts Dr. Phatak followed in his practice. One realizes that flexibility in the approach of case analysis was his strength. Alongside such flexibility was a fluid-like awareness free from dogmatic rules in constructing the individualizing portrait of the case.
