Zusammenfassung

Die Zahntransplantation ist eine sehr alte Therapieform. Während die allogene Transplantation von Zähnen aufgrund klassischer immunologischer Abstoßungsreaktionen für den Praktiker eher bedeutungslos ist, stellt die autogene Zahntransplantation aufgrund präziser biologischer und patho-/physiologischer Kenntnisse heute eine sehr sichere Therapievariante dar. Sie ist eine gute und praktikable Alternative zum kieferorthopädischen Lückenschluss, zur konventionellen prothetischen Versorgung und zu Implantationen. Gerade beim jungen Patienten liegt die Langzeiterfolgsquote bei über 95%. Voraussetzung dafür sind ein atraumatisches chirurgisches Vorgehen sowie regelmäßige klinische und röntgenologische Kontrollen, zumindest in den ersten zwei postoperativen Jahren. Dadurch lassen sich mögliche entzündliche Komplikationen frühzeitig erkennen und erfolgreich therapieren.

Abstract

Tooth transplantation is a very old form of therapy. While allogeneic tooth transplantation is rather meaningless for the practitioner due to classical immunological rejection reactions, autogenous tooth transplantation is a very safe therapy option today due to precise biological and patho-/physiological knowledge. It is a good and practicable alternative to orthodontic gap closure, conventional prosthetic treatment and implantation. Especially in young patients, the long-term success rate is over 95%. The prerequisites for this are an atraumatic surgical procedure as well as regular clinical and radiographic controls, at least in the first two postoperative years. In this way, possible inflammatory complications can be detected at an early stage and successfully treated.
