Das Karzinoid des Ösophagus - Eine Fallbeschreibung und Diskussion

Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über einen 62-jährigen Patienten mit einem atypischen Karzinoid im Bereich des Ösophagus. Der Tumor wuchs zwischen 24 und 27 cm ab oberer Zahnreihe. Klinisch imponierte ein Globusgefühl mit beginnender Dysphagie. Es wurde eine thorakoabdominale Ösophagusresektion mit Magenhochzug durchgeführt. Im Bereich des Ösophagus sind Karzinoide extrem selten. Zur Zeit ist die Resektion die einzige therapeutische Option dieser Tumoren. Unser Fall wird mit der geringen Anzahl bereits vorbeschriebener Fälle in der Literatur verglichen und diskutiert.

Abstract

We report a 62 year old man who presented with dysphagia. The esophagoscopy revealed a 3 cm irregular and vulnerable mass 24 to 27 cm from the incisors. A thoraco-abdominal esophagectomy was performed. The histologic diagnosis was carcinoid tumour. Esophageal carcinoids are very rare neoplasmas. Radical esophagectomy is the only therapeutical option in these tumours.
