Sind Sie auch der Meinung, dass die ambulante Therapie von Alkoholkranken kaum Erfolgschancen hat? Schade, denn damit überlassen Sie rund 95 Prozent dieser Patienten einem unter Umständen schlimmen Schicksal. „Früh erkennen und handeln!” heißt stattdessen die Devise für die Praxis, und dafür steht Ihnen von modernen Test- und Therapiemethoden wie dem kontrollierten Trinken (kT) bis zum begleitenden Nervenschutz der Wahl mit oralem Benfotiamin[*] ein breites Interventionsspektrum zur Verfügung. Die Maßnahmen sind im Curriculum der Fachkunde „Suchtmedizinische Grundversorgung” der Bundesärztekammer fest verankert und werden von KVen und Kassen anerkannt bzw. gefördert, können aber - wo es trotzdem Schwierigkeiten in der hinreichenden Erstattung geben sollte - zum Beispiel als IGeL-Leistung verrechnet werden.

Are you also among those who think, that the outpatient therapy of alcoholic patients has hardly any chances of success? If this is so, you leave about 95 percent of these patients to a fate, that might be very hard. The motto for the practice is „Recognize early and act!”. For this approach a broad spectrum of interventions is available, from modern test and therapeutic methods - like the controlled drinking - to the accompanying nerve protection with oral Benfotiamin[*]. The measures are firmly established in the curriculum of the Fachkunde (special knowledge) „Suchtmedizinische Grundversorgung” (basic services in the field of addition medicine) of the Bundesärztekammer (General Medical Council) and are accepted or promoted by the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung (Association of National Health General Practitioners) and the health insurance fund. These measures can - if there are problems concerning an adequate refund - be charged as IGeL (individual health benefits) benefits.
