Rich Ellenbogen is an extremely gifted and talented pediatric neurosurgeon. For years, I have encouraged him to write a pediatric manuscript for neurosurgeons whose focus is not pediatric. He has exceeded my original request in compiling one of the most outstanding volumes that I have seen for the general neurosurgeon. I know the readership will appreciate his efforts and enjoy the insights included herein by turning to this reference as one which will help deal with the ever-expanding field of pediatric neurosurgery.
