Die optimale Induktionstherapie beim nichtkleinzelligen Lungenkarzinom (NSCLC) im operablen klinischen Stadium IIIA-N2 ist nicht eindeutig geklärt. Die amerikanische Autorengruppe ging mit einer retrospektiven Analyse von Daten der National Cancer Data Base (NCBD) der Frage nach, ob die präoperative Chemoradiotherapie (ICR) gegenüber alleiniger Induktionschemotherapie (IC) zu besseren postoperativen Ergebnissen führt.
