Zusammenfassung

Auswirkungen von Zufütterung, Schnuller & Co. Die Themen Stillen und Saugverwirrung durch Schnuller oder Flaschenfütterung verunsichern Eltern und Fachpersonal der Geburtshilfe, Neonatologie und Pädiatrie. Die begrenzte und widersprüchliche Evidenz zum Thema „Saugverwirrung“ trägt zusätzlich zur Unsicherheit bei. Der folgende Beitrag widmet sich dem Spannungsfeld zwischen Stillen, Zufütterung von Säuglingsnahrung im klinischen Bereich, dem Gebrauch von künstlichen Saugern und den Ursachen von Saugverwirrung bei Neugeborenen.
