Hat die Frau ihren Kinderwunsch zu lange hinausgezögert, kann auch die Reproduktionsmedizin keine Wunder vollbringen. Liegen jedoch andere Einschränkungen der männlichen oder weiblichen Fertilität vor, so verhilft die moderne Reproduktionsmedizin vielen Paaren zu einem Kind.
