Significance

The Lycopodium alkaloid (+)-serratezomine A was isolated from the club moss Lycopodium serratum during a search for new therapeutics. The enamine F was used as the lynchpin molecule to generate the quaternary center at C12 by multiple additions to that carbon atom.
