Significance
Reported is a set of interesting dendrimers decorated with exTTF as head groups. Their self-assembly behavior has been explored by MS, ¹H NMR, UV-Vis, DLS, AFM and SEM. In addition, they are able to encapsulate multiple C60 molecules, thus forming donor-acceptor-type structures that are important for organic optoelectronics such as photovoltaics. The redox properties of these dendrimers and their C60 complexes were also explored by means of cyclic voltammetry.
