Akzeptanz der „En-Bloc“-Resektion bei EOTRH – Ergebnisse einer Besitzerbefragung

Der tierärztliche Rat, bei EOTRH-Patienten alle betroffenen Zähne zu extrahieren, kann den Pferden ein schmerzfreies Leben ermöglichen, ist für Besitzer aber emotional problematisch. In einer Besitzerbefragung wurden das Wohlbefinden und der Werdegang von Pferden, bei denen eine „En-bloc“-Resektion durchgeführt wurde, untersucht, um zukünftig einer fehlenden Besitzerakzeptanz fachlich fundiert begegnen zu können.
