Brauchen wir Respiratory Care Units oder Atemnotfallzentren?
Do we need Respiratory Care Units or Respiratory Emergency Centers?Obwohl Lungen- und Herzerkrankungen häufig zusammen auftreten, liegt der Fokus in der akuten medizinischen Notfallversorgung oft nur auf der Behandlung der kardiologischen Beschwerden. Dies führt vielfach zu einer Wiedervorstellung des Patienten und einer verminderten Lebensqualität. Wie also lässt sich diese Behandlungslücke schließen?
Abstract
Although lung and heart diseases often occur together, the focus in acute medical emergency care frequently lies on the treatment of the cardiological symptoms only. This leads to a repeated patient visit and an impaired quality of life. How can this treatment gap be closed?
