Keramikimplantate – materialspezifische und klinische Grundlagen

Keramische Zahnimplantate aus Zirkonoxid haben sich in den letzten 2 Jahrzehnten auf dem Markt etabliert und sind für viele Anwender ein fester Bestandteil des klinischen Alltags geworden. Im folgenden Beitrag wird durch die Darstellung der wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen erörtert, ob auch heute noch Bedenken bei der klinischen Anwendung bestehen müssen und ob unbegründete Vorurteile aus der Vergangenheit noch immer relevant sind.
