Abstract
A two-year-old girl was found to have a hamartoma of the liver located centrally in
the hilar region. Despite the benign character of this lesion severe biliary obstruction
developed rapidly and made surgical therapy necessary-. The surgical approach, with
reference to the literature, is discussed.
Zusammenfassung
Vorgestellt wird der Fall eines zwei Jahre alten Mädchens, welches ein zentral in
der Hilusregion gelegenes Hamartom der Leber aufwies. Trotz des benignen Charakters
dieses Tumors entwickelte sich rasch eine biliäre Obstruktion, welche eine chirurgische
Intervention notwendig machte. Das chirurgische Vorgehen mit Diskussion von Literaturbemerkungen
wird vorgestellt.
