Zusammenfassung

Chirurgische Verfahren zur Stimmverbesserung dienen der Wiederherstellung der Stimmfunktion und damit der lautsprachlichen Kommunikation. Sie umfassen die Mikrophonochirurgie mit direktem und indirektem Zugang, die Laryngoplastiken, laryngeale Injektionen und die chirurgische Reinnervation des Larynx. Grundlagen der modernen Operationstechniken bei Stimmschädigungen sind neu gewonnene Erkenntnisse über den ultrastrukturellen Aufbau der Stimmlippen und die zunehmende Erfahrung vieler Operateure vor dem speziellen Hintergrund der erhöhten sozialen und professionellen Anforderungen an die Stimme. Eine Beeinträchtigung der Kommunikation oder spezifischer künstlerischer Fähigkeiten hat an gesellschaftlicher Bedeutung gewonnen. In der Folge hat sich ein breites Repertoire chirurgischer Verfahren zur Wiederherstellung der Stimmfunktion etabliert. Es sollte den hohen Ansprüchen genügen, die zu Recht an funktionell orientierte invasive Maßnahmen gestellt werden. Eine gestörte oder wiederhergestellte Stimme kann nur mehrdimensional diagnostiziert werden. Die differenzierte Indikationsstellung zur Therapie und die Wahl des geeigneten Verfahrens ergeben sich daraus.
