Darmflora und Probiotika
Intestinal flora and probioticsPublikationsverlauf
Publikationsdatum:
04. Dezember 2006 (online)
Summary
The physiological gut microflora is the decisive precondition for immunocompetence and digestion. It is developed during the first days of life and remains relatively constant throughout the life. Nevertheless it is affected by changing influences - negative as well as positive ones. Probiotics are living microorganisms which are administered orally aiming at a positive influence on the gut microflora. The recent knowledge about their possibilities and limits will be discussed.
