Introduction
The development of methods of closed reduction and fixation using fluoroscopic imaging has allowed the surgeon to treat a great variety of bone fractures safely and effectively. The development makes the radiation exposure of the orthopaedic surgeon increase rapidly. The purpose of our study was to quantify the amount of radiation any member of an orthopaedic surgical team receives during operations performed applying fluoroscopic imaging.
