When I asked Dr. Krisht to take the challenge of editing the volume of therapy for pituitary tumors I would never have guessed that he could compile such an outstanding edition. Certainly in this edition every aspect of care for the patient with a pituitary tumor is included, from attempting to answer the question of surgical therapy for microadenomas to dealing with the complexities of a Cushing's patient. It is all here. I think we are fortunate to have such a contemporary update of pituitary treatment, and I hope that the readership feels the same.
