Abstract
Introduction: Leiomyosarcoma of the urinary bladder is a rare cancer in urology with unknown etiology.
Case Reports: We report the medical history, therapy and follow-up of two additional patients with a leiomyosarcoma of the urinary bladder.
Conclusions: Treatment options are discussed taking into account our own experience as well as a review of the literature. If a localized tumor is diagnosed early, radical cystectomy is indicated in adults. Adjuvant therapy protocols based on GTNM-staging and grading have been employed with varying success.
