Synthesis of Functional Oxazolidin-2-ones and Oxadiazin-2-ones in Two Steps from CO2 via Cyclic α-Methylene Carbonates
Further Information
Publication History
Publication Date:
19 March 2002 (online)
The direct synthesis of cyclic α-methylene carbonates from CO2 allows the access to optically active functional 4-hydroxy oxazolidin-2-ones by reaction with amino acids, to bis-oxazolidin-2-ones with ammonia, and to oxadiazin-2-ones with hydrazine.
