Wenn ein Trauma krank macht

Bei einer ‚Posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung‘ (PTBS) triggern Auslösereize die schrecklichen Erinnerungen an Missbrauch, Katastrophen, Tod oder Krieg. Die Betroffenen erleben ihre Gegenwart als Albtraum, ziehen sich oft zurück und leiden auch unter körperlichen Beschwerden. Wissentlich oder unwissentlich behandeln Physiotherapeut*innen auch Menschen mit traumatischen Erlebnissen.
