Abstract

Four coumarins have been isolated from the rootbark of Citrus nobilis Lour. collected in Nigeria. The major constituent was identified as suberosin. In addition small amounts of xanthyletin, and the rarely crenulatin and suberenol were identified on the basis of their spectral properties.
