A New Iridoid Glucoside, Nepetolglucosylester from Nepeta cataria

Abstract
A new iridoid glucoside, named nepetolglucosylester, being C-ll glucosylester, was isolated from leaves of Nepeta cataria L. The structure and the stereochemistry of nepetolglucosylester, having trans, cis configuration, was established by its degradation to 3(S)-trans, cw-boschnialinic acid.
