Abstract

The phloroglucinol composition of Dryopteris marginata (Wall.) Christ from the western Himalayas (India) has been investigated. It contains several fully aromatic compounds, predominantly margaspidin. The phloroglucinol composition of East African D. inae-qualis is very similar.
