Nur 92 Sekunden würde es im Schnitt dauern, bis Patient*innen ihr Hauptanliegen geschildert haben – wenn wir sie nur erzählen ließen. Obendrein würden wir in dieser Zeit bereits viele therapierelevante Informationen erhalten. Christoph Schwertfellner ist sich sicher: Ein Sich-verstanden-Fühlen kann wahre Wunder hinsichtlich der Therapiemotivation bewirken. Er beschreibt, wie das Konzept des Motivational Interviewing dabei helfen kann.
