Significance

A Ti-mediated regio- and stereoselective cross-coupling of substituted olefins and imines is reported for achiral and chiral homoallylic alcohols and achiral and chiral imines, providing a convenient route to 1,5-amino alcohols which can cyclize to form piperidines.
