Publication History

Publication Date:
15 February 2006 (online)

Beginning in 2006, Seminars in Thrombosis and Hemostasis will undergo some changes that are intended to further the growth of the journal:

This year, the frequency of the journal will increase to eight issues per annum. Regional editors have been appointed for three major geographic regions: the Americas, Australia/Asia, and Europe. These regional editors will assist in the identification of the guest editors for these issues and of topics that are current and of interest to our readers. Associate editors will support the regional editors in these tasks. Seminars in Vascular Medicine has been folded into Seminars in Thrombosis and Hemostasis. In 2006, we will publish two issues devoted to topics related to vascular medicine. It is hoped that this transition will offer an even broader perspective and better serve the interests of the readers. Due to the very limited uptake by our readers, Seminars in Thrombosis and Hemostasis will discontinue its offering of Continuing Medical Education credits; we hope that this will not inconvenience too many readers and apologize for this change.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the members of the new editorial board for their willingness to undertake this task, and I look forward to the continuing growth of the journal.
