Massives lokalisiertes Lymphödem - eine seltene Entität

Zusammenfassung

Das massive lokalisierte Lymphödem stellt ein sehr seltenes Krankheitsbild dar. Es wurden bisher nur 22 Fälle in der Literatur beschrieben. Hierbei handelt sich um lokalisierte monströse Pseudotumoren der Subkutis, die zumeist in der Inguinalregion bzw. an der unteren Extremität lokalisiert sind. Diese pseudotumorösen Prozesse entwickeln sich langsam über Jahre hinweg. Differenzialdiagnostisch müssen neben Hernien lipomatöse Tumoren abgegrenzt werden. Therapeutisch werden diese pseudotumorösen Läsionen exzidiert, wobei in den wenigen bisher beschriebenen Fällen Rezidive keine Seltenheit bilden. Die Diagnostik und Therapie einer 48-jährigen Patientin mit einem über 22 kg schweren massiven lokalisierten Lymphödem der Inguinalregion werden vorgestellt und diskutiert.

Abstract

Massive localized lymphedema is a rare disease. Only a few cases have been described in the literature. These monstrous pseudotumors of the subcutis are mostly localized in the inguinal region or at the lower extremity. These tumors often show a slow growth for many years. Besides hernias, lipomatous tumors must be distinguished. The therapy of choice is the excision of the tumor. Relapse is not uncommon in the few cases described in the literature so far. The diagnostic procedure and therapy of an 48-year-old women with a massive localized lymphedema weighing about 22 kg are demonstrated and discussed.
