Publication History

Publication Date:
21 July 2003 (online)

With this publication of Seminars in Neurology, Dr. Robert Pascuzzi has stepped down from his role as Editor in Chief; a role that he made his own from 1998 to 2001, and then shared in 2002 as Co-Editor in Chief with Dr. Karen Roos. During these years Bob and his editorial team have worked tirelessly to produce the highly respected and uniquely informative Seminars series, including such stellar topics as Muscular Dystrophy, Neurogenetics in Clinical Practice, Neuro-ophthalmology for the General Neurologist, Central Nervous System Infections, Motor Neuron Disorders, Spinal Disorders, and Epilepsy, to name just a few.

Bob has been such a great spokesperson and leader for the journal and has really helped it to grow during his five years at the helm, always exploring new ways to disseminate this timely information to a wider market. Thankfully we are not losing him completely; Bob will continue to be an active member of Seminars, and will sit on the Editorial Board as Senior Associate Editor.

Seminars is, of course, left in very capable hands. Karen Roos came on board as Co-Editor in Chief at the beginning of 2002, having previously given us the very successful issues on central nervous system infections in 1992 and 2000. Karen's editorial expertise and enormous respect within the field of neurology promises the continued success of the journal, and we look forward to publishing the remaining issues of 2003 on Neuroimmunotherapy, Neurological Education, and The Autonomic Nervous System.

And so Bob, many thanks again for your commitment to the journal and for making Seminars a highly respected forum during your time in charge.
