Spontaneous Rupture of the Liver Presenting as Scrotal Bruising

ABSTRACT
We describe a case of spontaneous rupture of the liver in a neonate, presenting with features consistent with testicular torsion. Ruptured liver has been well described in neonates following birth trauma, coagulation defects, and Group B Streptococcal infection. The etiology in our case remains undefined.
