Diagnostische und therapeutische Ellenbogenarthroskopie

Die Ellenbogenarthroskopie zählt im Gegensatz zur Knie- und Schulterarthroskopie zu denjenigen Gelenkspiegelungen, die bislang vorwiegend in spezialisierten Zentren durchgeführt werden. Es zeigt sich jedoch, dass sich der Ellenbogenarthroskopie immer mehr Indikationen eröffnen und die Zahl der durchgeführten diagnostischen und therapeutischen Eingriffe Jahr für Jahr ansteigt. Bereits heute kann eine Vielzahl offener Verfahren durch arthroskopische Eingriffe ersetzt werden. Die verschiedenen Pathologien, wie die Epikondylopathien, können dank der Arthroskopie besser klassifiziert und differenziertere Behandlungskonzepte erstellt werden.

Dieser Beitrag fasst den aktuellen Stand der Ellenbogenarthroskopie zusammen. Neben den Indikationen werden die konkrete Durchführung und die postoperative Nachbehandlung dargestellt.
