Zusammenfassung

Stress im Wochenbett und mangelnde Unterstützung durch das soziale Umfeld beeinträchtigen das mütterliche Gesundheitsverhalten. Durch frühe Interventionen können Hebammen die Stressbewältigung der Mutter und ihre soziale Unterstützung im Wochenbett fördern.

Abstract

Maternal stress and lack of social support in the postpartum period have a negative impact on health behaviour of new mothers. Midwives can enhance mother’s coping with stress and improve their social support by early interventions in postpartum care.
