Synthesis of a New Pyrrolopyridoindole and Its Pyrrolopyridobenzimidazole Regioisomer

Abstract

The synthesis of a new pyrrolopyridoindole was carried out according to two different synthetic pathways. Thus, the preparation of this new tetracyclic pyrrolopyridoindole and its pyrrolopyridobenzimidazole regioisomer was achieved via thermolysis of a 1-(7-azaindolyl)benzotriazole intermediate.
