Die Unsichtbaren sehen: Menschenhandel im geburtshilflichen Kontext erkennen und richtig handeln

Es erscheint wie ein Problem, das in eine andere Welt gehört – doch dem ist nicht so: Menschenhandel ist auch in Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz grausame Realität. Und tritt nicht selten im medizinischen Kontext ans Tageslicht. Gesundheitsfachpersonen, insbesondere Hebammen, die einen engen und vertrauten Austausch mit betreuten Personen pflegen, können eine wichtige Rolle bei der Erkennung von Menschenhandel spielen. An welchen Anzeichen Hebammen Menschenhandel erkennen und wie sie in diesen Fällen richtig handeln können, zeigt dieser Artikel.
