ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Während die Hyperkalzämie in allen Stadien der Niereninsuffizienz inkl. des Dialysestadiums als bedenklich eingeschätzt wird, werden milde und asymptomatische Hypokalzämien als zumeist tolerabel betrachtet, insbesondere wenn sie im Kontext einer Calcimimetika-Therapie auftreten. Hypomagnesiämien sind bei Dialysepatienten mit erhöhtem Mortalitäts- und Frakturrisiko assoziiert – eindeutige Empfehlungen zu Magnesium-Zielbereichen bzw. zur Dosierung von Supplementationen lassen sich allerdings auf dem Boden der derzeitigen Datenlage noch nicht machen. Die Hyperphosphatämie als Mortalitätsrisikofaktor bei Dialysepatienten wird durch weitere aktuelle Studien bestätigt – interessanterweise existieren nun erste Hinweise, dass eine hohe Phosphat-Zufuhr auch eine Hypertonieentwicklung begünstigen kann.
