Abstract

Light is the most underestimated food with unexpected effects on biological health. In the case of artificial light, the incandescent lamp came closest to the natural spectral distribution of sunlight. Now it has to be replaced by LEDs according to the law. With different approaches, the article shows how the exposure to artificial light affects body and mind. The disadvantages of white light caused by light stress and light flicker as well as the consequences for the practice are addressed. With the help of the Lüscher-Color-Diagnostic according to Max Lüscher it is shown, how colors can be used in psychovegetative diagnostics, e.g. with light therapy.
