Müssen perifissurale Noduli im Lungen-CT nachverfolgt werden?

In der US-amerikanischen Studie NLST (National Lung Screening Trial) erwies sich die CT zur Senkung der Lungenkrebs-Mortalität der Röntgenaufnahme des Thorax überlegen. Allerdings führte eine erhebliche Anzahl initial als falsch positiv benannter gutartiger Noduli zu unnötigen Folge-CT und zur Verunsicherung von Betroffenen. Die Studie untersuchte die Interrater-Variabilität bei der Klassifizierung perifissuraler Noduli (PFNs).
