Abstract

A 3-year-old male child presented with severe complicated Plasmodium vivax malaria with acute hepatic failure. Patient also had positive IgM antibody for Hepatitis A. Patient died of severe coagulopathy and bleeding. This case report documents a confirmed co- infection, which has not been hitherto reported in English literature to the best of our knowledge.
