Abstract

Acrodermatitis enteropathica is an autosomal recessive disorder due to defective absorption of zinc. It may be associated with defective cell mediated immunity, which makes these patients prone to various infections. We hereby report a case of acrodermatitis enteropathica in a child associated with disseminated tuberculosis, which has not been previously reported in the literature.
