Zusammenfassung

Es wird das Wesen der Dokumentation und der Information interpretiert. Besonders werden die Begriffe Literaturdokumentation (Definition, Erfassen von Dokumenten, Inhaltsanalysen, Schlagwortgebung, Speicherung von Daten) und Literaturinformation (Definition, Ermittlung des Informationsbedarfs, Informationsplanung, Nutzung der Dokumentationsergebnisse, Informationsübermittlung) erläutert. Gesichtspunkte zum Aufbau einer fachspezifischen Informationsstelle werden dargelegt.

Letztlich wird der Entwurf eines Deskriptorenverzeichnisses zur Diskussion gestellt.

The character of documentation and information is interpreted. The notions of documentation of literature (definition, establishment of documents, contents analyses, key-words, accumulation of data) and information of literature (definition, registration of the need of information, planning of information, utilization of the results of documentation, transmission of information) are explained. Points of view for the construction of a special information centre are stated. Finally the design of a list of descriptors is made subject for a discussion.
