Morphologische Kriterien der Transplantatauswahl und Verlaufskontrollen bei perforierender Keratoplastik

Zusammenfassung

In einer prospektiven Studie werden die allgemeinen Daten von Hornhautspendern, insbesondere die Endothelzelldichte, mit dem postoperativen Verlauf verglichen. Der einzig sichere Parameter für eine gute Endothelzelldichte im Transplantat ist eine möglichst hohe Zelldichte in der Spenderhornhaut. Andere Parameter des Spenders sind nur von untergeordneter Bedeutung. Im allgemeinen ist mit einem Endothelzellverlust von Spender auf Transplantat von 20-30% zu rechnen.

Summary

In a prospective study the general data of cornea donors, in particular the endothelial cell density, were compared with the postoperative course. The only safe parameter for good endothelial cell density in the graft is maximum cell density in the donor cornea. Other donor parameters are only of secondary importance. In general, 20-30% of the donor endothelial cells are lost in the graft.
