Extrakapsuläre Kataraktextraktion und Hinterkammerlinsenimplantation

Die Korrektur der Aphakie mit einer Intraokularlinse ist ein Fortschritt in der Kataraktchirurgie. Die extrakapsuläre Extraktion und die Implantation in die Hinterkammer scheint die Technik der Wahl. Die Autoren berichten über die Resultate der ersten 119 Operationen. Die Komplikationen, welche wir in dieser Studie analysieren, entsprechen denen welche jedem Neophyten in dieser Technik gestellt werden.

Summary

The correction of aphakia by means of an intraocular lens represents the latest advance in cataract surgery. Extracapsular extraction and posterior chamber implantation appears to be the best technique. The results of the 119 operations so far performed by the authors were recorded, and the complications analyzed in this study are problems which face all surgeons who are newcomers to this technique.
