Abstract

Temporaiis muscle asymmetry is a bothersome complication of pterional craniotomy, resulting from atrophy, malposition, and unreliable fixation. The authors describe a simple, quick, and inexpensive technique to achieve firm, anatomic reapproximation of the temporalis muscle to its bone attachment.
